The band is a three piece. The drummer, Jeremy Blynn, has been playing in bands for 15 years and has recorded in the studio as well. The bass player, Mike Berman , has been playing in bands all his life and plays with several bands in the tri state area in clubs such as Ruthie's BB-Que †to Lucille's in BB King's and has done recording as well. The guitar/singer is Marc Paul.This is his first blues band. He loves the blues and just wants to keep on bluesin.†

BLUES BUDDHA BANDWe will bring you a personal experence an infectious mix of our Blues, R&B, Rock and Soul. I have been a devoted student of the Blues listening to, learning from, and playing with some of the best players in New York and around the country. I bring my R&B, Soul and Rock gumbo to the Blues and make it my own. In January of 2009, together with Scott Staton of Stoopid Daddy Records we began writing seven original tunes for a new project. Then we collaborated with Denny Leroux of Storm of the Century Music in Florida for the final three songs. Over this past year, we recorded with Larry Alexander at his studio in Congers New York, with a group of super talented musicians and produced a new CD called, "I Like It A Lot". Gene "The Jammeister" Caprioglio
Guitarist/vocalist has been gigging in the Metropolitan area for a long time. He has played and recorded with a few bands including Barebones, a blues duo with harp player, Bob "Dr. 88" LarSardo. Barebones has received favorable press in Newsday, Blues Revue and Blues Access for its two CDs Funhouse and 35 Orange.In addition to Barebones Gene works regularly with The Pick-Up Allstars.The Allstars have hosted jams in Queens for over ten years, and they are currently holding forth on Sundays at 9 PM at Lucky Mojo in Long Island City Gene has played at the following venues, in no particular order:Damrosch Park at Lincoln Center, Cha Cha's on the Boardwalk at Coney Island, the now defunct Bottom Line opening for Taj Mahal and Robert Hunter, Lounge 32 (every Sunday for 2 years) in Astoria,The Back Fence,Socrates Sculpture Park,the China Club (One memorable night he lent his guitar to David Bowie.), the much lamented Dan Lynch's and probably a 100 more places. Don Guinta - drummer
Born into a musical family with both parents being music teachers, Don started playing drums at the age of eight. During senior year at Union high school, Don was chosen to receive the Danny Gottlieb drum scholarship which entitled him to start studying with legendary drummer Joe Morello. After high school it was on to Manhattan School of Music where Don studied with Paul Price and Fred Hinger. He then transferred to the William Paterson College Jazz studies program where he studied with Horacee Arnold. Over the years Don has been heard mostly with virtuoso pianist/organist Ed Alstrom, who now along with Don is part of the house rhythm section at the newly started Jazz Wednesdays at the 46 Lounge on rt 46 east in Totowa, NJ. Don is booking the gigs at the 46 lounge and will be playing with artists such as Jerry Vivino, Rob Paparozzi, John Tropea, Bob Mintzer, Melvin Sparks, Van Manakas, Ralph Bowen, Vic Juris, Mike Richmond, John Korba, Dave Keyes, Dave Ginsberg, Vito Chiavuzzo, and a host of other great players.
DZ Vibe combines Chicagos electric blues, Texas and swamp blues, and Afro-jazz into their own brand of infectious rhythms, searing solos and growling vocals. Band members have real blues "street credo" with gigs from Chicago blues bars to New Orleans, jam sessions in African villages and the New York club scene.
